i totally get why other puas stare at your game and your results in shock and disbelief. you are simply approaching this whole thing more professionally and not bulding upon wrong assumptions, but starting from scratch. i really appreciated listening to your thoughts.
i have to agree though, el topo the interviewer is pretty annoying. he always comes across as having an agenda and some hidden goal in mind. it's amazing you guys talk so much about frames and do not recognize that everything from el topo is framed before he's bringing the actual content. it's always the mysterious community and something only he or one of his students realized lately, it's always telling why he's good and referring to other well known names in context to him. i appreciate that he's giving stuff away for free and he deserves my full respect for putting himself out there, but the way he frames things when talking about pick-up is plain weird. think of 2 guys talking about basketball and is constantly bringing external proof before introducing a concept of his. it's weird. especially in context to cj who's not doing this at all and comes across pretty authentic.

When CJ talks on frames, all the world shuts up and listens…but this dork just goes on and on rambling about what a great pickup artist HE is….blissfully unaware that he is the interviewer not the interviewee…the worst part was where he stops CJ talking so that he could present his view point. So many of CJ's threads are interrupted throughout the interview…very frustrating for the listener. I hope a more matured PUA would do this interview again…ideally, Eric Disco interviewing CJ…perfect!
What was useful to me was simply the concept of frames, how they work, and how you can use them.
The idea of frames is something that clicks with my past experiences in other areas, but for some reason have never really thought of much with women.
So for example, you talk about giving the girl a choice of selecting basically the same frame by asking the question “So are you adventurous, or do you just like new things.”
Another way you can do this is by asking a question where one choice is ridiculous or outside the realm of possibilities.
I use this technique to get out of traffic tickets.
When a cop pulls me over, I will ask the question “So since it is such a nice day out, will you let me go, or are you going to have to throw me in jail?”
There are several things going on here:
First: we are giving the cop two choices, let me go or throw me in jail. He will tend to think in the two frames, and not in the frame of “I am giving this guy a ticket”.
Second: When a person is asked a question, they tend to want to answer right away. Taking a long time to answer makes you appear dumb. This reinforces selecting one of the two choices. This is probably truer for men, than women, although I have not read any studies on this, and is just a hypothesis.
Third: The option of throwing me in jail is certainly not something he is going to do for going 75 in a 55. That leaves the choice of letting me go. For a policeman who was driving a K-9 unit, I had once made the alternative frame “sick your dog on me”, which would have also certainly been discarded.
Forth: I give a reason for letting me go. It is a nice day out. I learned in Psych 101 that if you give a reason, even if the reason is not relevant or makes no sense, you are much more likely to get compliance.
Fifth: The cop is generally in an undetermined frame when they walk up to your car. Police often let people go with a warning, so when a cop walks up to talk to you, unless you have done something particularly egregious, they don’t know themselves if they are going to give you a ticket. This makes them susceptible for you to set the frame. In fact, now that I think about it, they are almost letting you set the frame.
I think that other PUA’s are aware of frames, even if they don’t specifically lay them out. Mystery had discussed that one of the advantages of Negging the target right away is so she doesn’t give you any boyfriend objections. He obviously knew that once the “I have a boyfriend” frame was set, it is very difficult to get out of, and that you are best off not letting that frame be set.
Good stuff, and I am excited to get out there and experiment. Hopefully tomorrow!
The idea that acting like a clown, in a girl's eyes, means that the dude just doesn't GET IT. I also found it very helpful to hear how you run Strawberry Fields and Rings on Fingers … the pacing, tonality, etc (much different than just reading the text in my stack).

Amazing audio, as always. CJ knows his stuff so well it is astounding.
But I have to concur re: El Topo – it’s bad enough that this guy doesn’t shut up, but he doesn’t even add anything to the audio. It’s always ‘I,me,my, I can, I did…etc’ and nothing about sexual frames.
I wonder if CJ got as frustrated as we did, because his stuff in here was priceless, just tainted by an idiot.
At what point of the M3 model do you start Sexual Framing?
Frame Refusal, that is some of the most incredible info I’ve heard in a long time. It highlighted to me how incredibly easy it is to get sucked into a killer frame.
Just the Question alone would take an expert to recognize the frame being set, “What church do you go to?” An AFC could fail to recognize this as LTR screening and think some dumbass thing like “Chance for similarity!, If we are the same religion then I can build connection” And Ultimately castrate himself.
Not only refusing frames but recognizing frames is the lesson here. Be weary my friends!
