The 'You're beautiful' approach works well (with a bunch of natural friends as well) due to the fact that even beautiful girls have LSE... and if they DON'T have LSE, chances are they are just nice people. It's almost as easy as asking for the time. <br/><br/>Getting them to pick up however, is all about making them anticipate your call; simply waiting 2 days to call wont do it - You have to make yourself seem amazing in person. That's been my experience with it - they are so shocked and flattered that you were able to approach them like that in the daytime that it would be SUPER rude for them to not even give you a phone number, esp. when you're putting yourself out there, so openly putting yourself on the line for rejection.
