Outlandish and Rhythm

Have you ever paid attention to the vocabulary of high achievers?

They often talk about getting in a rhythm or a ‘flow’ or ‘getting a feel’ for something.

Not only that, they have a specialized vocabulary. The world’s greatest investors have specialized vocabularies. Statement of Cash Flows, Cost of Services, Earnings Per Share, EBITDA… (It’s known to us as Finance and Accounting but was created by Investors who wanted easy ways to compare businesses on a common basis so they could put their capital to ‘highest and best use.’)

One of the keys to expanding your ability to achieve more is to learn the specialized vocabulary of a subject (or create one).

Naming a thing makes it real.

Once it is named you can discuss it with others, examine its relationships, research its source and otherwise quantify it. But, without a distinct name it remains nothing more than unsifted data, white noise, unrecognized and un-utilized.

Some people must think I’m outlandish. I’m always trying to put a name to some phenomena so I can get a handle on it.

I have dozens of pick-up terms I coined on my own to describe things I’ve witnessed.

In a certain metaphysical discipline I’ve been studying for years I coined the term ‘Scene Jumping’ to describe why many of a person’s mental goals remain unaccomplished. By naming the phenomena, examining it and identifying its relationships to other parts of the process (and to other processes) I was able to devise several solutions to it. Not only that, I was able to change the way the process was taught so that ‘Scene Jumping’ was inoculated against from the beginning.

I’m pretty lucky because many of the PU people around me in Dallas also LOVE to name things, discuss them and, equally importantly, go out and TRY stuff out to put things to the test. El Topo (a genius) discussed this phenomena in his recent post “Sitting Down With Captain Jack.”

I’ve said all of that to point you to something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately: Rhythm.

By naming things to work with them mentally you reach the point of deducing other possible principles. Then, by having a behavior based feedback loop in place to test things you can achieve this thing called Rhythm.

By achieving Rhythm you can accomplish more… in less time… with less stress and make it look so easy that others assume you are a god among men.

(I think this is what the Huna Kumu was trying to teach us in the smoke filled valleys of the Oregon woods several years ago. He told us about the “Unconscious Competence” level of NLP and then told us about a higher level where it seemed that the unseen worlds aided the person who was at UC but wanted a higher level so bad they fused with it and the person seemed to have supreme luck on their side.)

Getting a sense of the natural Rhythm of things will allow you to transition from technical execution to high art. (In all things, not just PU.)

A successful pick-up has a Rhythm. When you hear a PUA say he is ‘off’ he is basically saying he has not been in Rhythm with any of the females he’s chatted with.

But, it’s more like a Rhythmic dance. Step over the bounds and you have stepped on her feet (or she on yours), stay in Rhythm and it looks like you two are reading each other’s minds.

Getting extremely good at Microcalibration is a technical way to develop an intuition for Rhythm. You can also get good at it by holding your intention to bond on a sexual level with a female mentally, feeling sexuality course through you as you talk to her and deciding to feel good no matter what happens. (By ‘bond on a sexual level’ I am talking more about the male-female dynamic than I am about the sex act.)

If you want to become a Real Estate Investor then you need to learn the specialized vocabulary of real estate investors. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a penny to your name right now, start learning the vocabulary. The money will come. The opportunity will come… but it won’t come, it CANNOT come until you have the vocabulary to recognize it.

I started by going to the local Real Estate meetings for 3 months straight. I didn’t have a dime to invest in real estate. But, when the money came I knew exactly what to do with it.

Specialized vocabulary gives you so much. And, one of the greatest things it gives you is the ability to discuss with others the subject on a high level.

Start by mastering the vocabulary. One of the main reasons to learn this vocabulary is so you can have advanced conversations with others about the subject. Can you imagine talking about PU without using our specialized vocabulary? I know there are a lot of people who would like to abolish it, including some great PUAs that I respect, but I think it would be a mistake.

Right now I’m in the process of further defining the vocabulary of the Warrior-King Society. I have the radio commercial voice talent narrowed down to 3 and the ad itself is nearly written.

As we grow we’ll have a unique vocabulary to describe the inner processes of making our Ideal Lifestyles manifest. Another point: I’m running the ads in the cities where we have the greatest concentration of members already because I intend on their being live, local group meetings.
