- This is a good blog. We all can use help from one another to strengthen ourselves and each other. Sinn wrote an awesome blog on sharpening the sword where he is always studying other PUA material trying and it and studying people and always trying to learn even if he is the second best in the world at PUA. He practices what he preaches which is a very powerful skill in leadership.
- Hey CJ. I can’t believe I’m giving you advice on anything, but as somebody who in the last year has lost 65 pounds (largely thanks to the community) this is something I have experience in.
Find out what’s causing you to not do what you know you have to (for me it was just plain old boredom which caused me to eat for lack of better ways to occupy myself) and try to eliminate that.
Anyway I’m happy to finally be where you are now, so don’t get too down.
Nicotine - hey CJ…when’s the next warrior king newsletter coming out? i loved the last one.
after reading your latest blog entry…i think i know what you need. its simple really. you need a friend who you spend a lot of time with to keep you going…to push you, to motivate you, and to kick ur ass into gear. (remember back to when you were young and you had a best friend and you played together everyday after school and every weekend…essentially you were joined at the hip)
well…if you had somebody like that now, someone who was always around…and they ate all their meals with you…then the 2 of ou could do it together. its being part of a team. its the most powerful motivator their is. human beings are social animals. in a group, or even better, in a team, we are stronger. we have stronger morals, stronger convictions, stronger determination. we push ourselves harder when we are doing it alongside our teammates. they push us, and we push them back. it is a win-win scenario…everybody gains, nobody loses.
the only problem with this is, in adult life, most people don’t have the opportunity to spend time with their team like we did when we were children…and most adult don’t have the team to begin with. i’ll bet if you asked the people who are close to you, they would want the same thing. now its just a matter of logistics. scheduling jobs with this new adult team oriented life. people who are good friends with their coworkers (and i mean real friends) are in the ideal situation, because they can create this continuous team relationship.. they can eat all their meals together. they can workout together. they can go out and pickup girls together. this can be very powerful.
in this day and age, as an adult, i begin to question, why do we all go our separate ways? certain professions allow this better than others. soldiers, professinoal athletes. i’m not sure what others.
however, i truly believe that project hollywood, in concept, was a brilliant idea. they just went about it the wrong way. they started out as strangers. their goals were not aligned, and they weren’t all good friends with a long history to start out.
imagine living with 4 or 6 of your friends (in a place big enough to support this many people) whose living styles and desires were aligned. imagine living with warrior kings. if the people were the right people, then 6 months or a year of this would be incredible. if you all were in the mindset where you wanted to improve yourselves (eating, exercising, making money, pickup, whatever it might be) and you can structure it in a healthy way (not looking to create a cult) then this would be so incredibly powerfull.
well, its just a thought =) - right now with pickup i’m trying to accomplish as much as i can without the help of a bootcamp. i want to see what i’m capable of, so far i’ve made huge strives.
but you guys will see me soon, possibly this year even, at a NY bootcamp with sinn and or future. maybe you too can make it capt
- i know what you’re going through man. we’re around the same weight actually and a few months back i started cleaning my diet up and lost 8 pounds quick, then just stopped for no reason. finally i realized i needed to make a change and i’ve been cleaning my diet up again and going to the gym.
good luck cj, it helps to know others are pushing for the same goal!
