Two Questions a Man Must Ask Himself
From “Fire in the Belly” by Sam Keen:
“The last thing he said before I left was probably the single most important bit of advice I ever got about being a man. “Sam,” he said, “there are two questions a man must ask himself: The first is ‘Where am I going?’ and the second is ‘Who will go with me?’ If you ever get these questions in the wrong order you are in trouble.” — page 12

Very deep insight…The last times I can see how all is in some way related to PU, maybe Is that my Reticular Activation System is focused in PU…(Check out Tyler’s new post in his blog)
yes a man always decide whats for him first then take care of whatever is related to that thing. if you switch the two then your life would have no direction. to ask these two question in this order is to be a leader.
Unfortunately, amateur pick up mentality is in reverse. You want good company before checking your own compass. I like the quote.
Having your own inner map is not an easy task though.
Finding your passions/ambitions is a long-term process that takes time and experience. What’s another step is figuring out the steps to get there and also being able to convey/tell what it is.
Any insightful words of wisdom or examples from your life CJ that us active blog readers could model? Especially since a lot of people are younger (under 21).

You decide what you want, then once you’ve got it you see if anyone else follows. Means you make your decisions outside of others influences.(Well thats my interpretation of it, probably comes partly from I tend to be swayed far to much by other people)
Agreed.
point worth noting, and adding on – go it alone if necessary.
BTW, Jack – this is one of the best blogs going on PU. thanks, and keep it up.

This is definitely an excellent insight. You have to have direction if you expect anyone to follow along. Otherwise, you are a sheep and just following the herd. Then guys like us can just bowl you over, take what ever you had, and you’ll probably try to follow us when when we’re done.
Syntax.
